about

I had a recurring dream about a lot of water. Like a flood where people would drown and I couldn’t help them. I think the dream was about the fear of letting go. And accepting the fear maybe. In my song ‘geef me wat water’ (give me some water) I try to capture this dream and its ambience. At the end of the song there is a part where I sing ‘ik mag er staan’ (I may stand here) to ground again. Live the audience would sing ‘staan’ as a pulse during the end while I dissapear into the dream again.
